Acupuncture Point Injection therapy is an integrative therapy that involves the injection of small amounts of vitamins, homeopathic medicine and other herbal and nutritional supplements in the form of sterile substances into acupuncture points or trigger points specific to your wellness needs, administered by Cindy Wu, EAMP who is trained and certified in Point Injection Therapy.

Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy is used when we think you need a deeper therapeutic form of acupuncture. These injections help with chronic pain management, muscle spasm, inflammation, arthritis, fatigue, cold and flu, liver detox, lymphatic drainage, and vitamin deficiency.

By applying the biotherapeutics on acupuncture points, a highly synergistic effect is being created, which enhances the power of both the acupuncture point and the biotherapeutic medicine. Furthermore, by leaving a deposit of medicine at the injection site will activate and stimulate the acupuncture point for a longer period of time. Therefore, Acupoint Injection Therapy can help speed up the healing process and restore health.

Unlike many injections given in conventional medicine, the needles we use are of the smaller size and finest quality available. The injections are typically painless or only mildly uncomfortable. Patients will notice a positive response and reduction of pain to some degree immediately following Acupoint Injection Therapy. Sarapin works by stopping pain signals in the nerves of the spine where they exit the spinal column. The selective action on the C fibers and its complete lack of effect on motor nerves make Sarapin superior to such anesthetics as procaine which act merely by anesthetizing the entire nerve and surrounding tissue. Furthermore, there is no tissue destruction as in case of cortisone injection. There are no systemic reactions and a lasting effect is obtained.
